A wallpaper is a style
of material that is used to beautify, cover, and decorate inner walls of
offices, entertainment building, homes, and other buildings. Wallpaper
is one of the attributes of interior beautification. Owing to its wide
range of characteristics that cannot be compared with other interior
wall covering and decoration materials, such as color diversity,
environment protection, rich patterns, appropriate price, and convenient
installation, wallpaper has gained significant adoption among customers
across the world.
The UAE's interior and fit-out market is set to witness a steady
growth in the coming years, driven by new and renovation projects across
the residential sector and hospitality, experts said.
"There are
multiple factors driving growth in the interiors and fit-out sector in
the UAE," said Amit Yadav, head of Marketing at 2XL Furniture &
Home Dcor. "New residential projects are most certainly one of the
biggest reasons given the scale of construction in the country. This
segment is going to gain further momentum, with many of the projects
reaching completion in preparation for Dubai Expo 2020. Refurbishments
also continue to be a key demand driver in the industry and is very
significant in terms of soft furnishings."
According to data by
Ventures Onsite, the interior fit-out market in the UAE is one of the
GCC's fastest growing industries and is expected to be worth $973
million by 2022. Non-oil growth in the GCC is projected to rise from 3.3
per cent in 2019 to 3.5 per cent in 2020. Buoyant oil prices and a
strong resurgence in the GCC's economic growth prospects are expected to
fuel renewed growth across the region's construction industry. The GCC
region's construction sector is tipped to see a 12 per cent year-on-year
rise in the value of new contractor project awards in 2019.
Furthermore,
the GCC building construction projects expected to be completed across
all sectors are forecast to be worth $74.97 billion in 2019. The overall
GCC interior contracting and fit-out spend across all sectors is
expected to be worth $9.4 billion in 2019.
Raneesh Mundon, project
manager at ECC Renovations, said that the interior fit-out market for
the residential sector in the UAE is steadily growing, and is expected
to become the largest, surpassing the hotel and commercial sectors. "Our
business model has evolved to cater to this booming segment that makes
up for Dh1.2 billion of the total UAE interior fit-out market, which is
expected to be worth Dh3.5 billion in 2022."
Ammar Hayani,
managing director of Porcelanosa Dubai, noted that the UAE, being a
cosmopolitan country with residents from over 200 nationalities, boasts
an interior design sector is deeply influenced by worldwide trends. "The
UAE is an example of a modern pioneer country with emblematic projects
being launched regularly with astonishing interior design requirements.
As the population in the country is growing, more residential projects
are being launched, which directly impacts the growth of the interiors
and fit-out sector."
Like Yadav, he identified a rapid growth in
the renovations sector. "Whatever was trendy four to five years ago
might not be in line with the current design tendencies. Moreover, the
attractive prices in the real estate sector in the UAE today have
encouraged many expatriates to buy property. Most of the freehold
projects have been built by massive developers that go for a standard
contemporary design approach. Many property owners are now renovating
these properties to fit their personal tastes and adapt to the current
fashion interior design styles. Furthermore, the UAE has many hotels to
accommodate the increasing number of tourists. In the hospitality
sector, renovation is required every 10-12 years, which leads to a
growth of in the renovations sector."

I’ve already seen the silver plastic bowls so let’s keep our fingers crossed, lol.
If they don’t restock the plates be creative. Google “square plastic plates” or “square mini plates” or “Square mini dessert plates, You can also purchase clear square plates and spray paint the back of the plates with your favorite color and then when you turn the plate around and it shows through beautifully. Get be creative.

Cute can become sophisticated in dry paper collage project.
Influences converged this week to
inspire this month’s DIY Decor project. First, I saw on social media
where an artist-friend, formerly based in Hampton Roads, had taught a
dry paper collage workshop for teens in Suffolk. Then, when my October
issue of a favorite home design magazine arrived, one of the
illustrations appeared to be a reproduction of a paper collage. So, I
went to my studio, opened my drawer of papers, and this is what quickly
emerged.
I’m not a big fan of “cute” in my own home. So, to be
honest, this framed collage, with its greeting card vibe, will be gifted
to someone for a baby’s room or the like. But, with different objects
from the house and plants, and with papers sporting different patterns
and colors, cute could become symbolic and sophisticated.

This is a pretty inexpensive way to make a big impact in your dining room or bedroom
Today's metallic paints can be any color for any room.
Metallic wall paint offers creative home decorators the chance
to enhance any space with light-reflecting touches. Whether you add
small hints of paint in high places or go bold and cover large areas
with shimmers, today’s metallic paints go beyond gold and silver.
Restraint is needed, however, as the “bling,” will be easy to overdo.
Pick just one room or two, and enjoy.
Border
Bring a shine to the upper part of a wall, along a chair rail
or under a plate rack with a solid line or stenciled border painted
with metallic wall paint. Beautiful when hit with indirect light or the
flicker of candlelight, a border of metallic paint adds that hint of
glamor to any room that needs a little drama. Metallic paint accents are
especially effective when used with a coordinating base wall color. For
example, use a warm terracotta-colored wall paint and a copper metallic
paint. A metallic paint border is a good choice for a dining room.
Checkerboard Pattern
Make a bold statement with a large silver-metallic and
flat-black checkerboard pattern. Ideal to use on one wall in a family
rec room or “man cave,” the silver metallic paint gives the whole room a
theme to build upon. A suitable backdrop for a home bar, pool table or
media room, it’s a design that requires only some painter’s tape and
patience to achieve.
Stripes
Paint stripes in a child’s bedroom or a nursery with a
colored metallic paint. A bit of striping goes a long way, so stripe
only one or two walls in a similar shade as the wall paint, varying the
size of the stripes from large to narrow for a fun, light-catching
treatment. With the paint colors basically identical, the metallic
element in the stripes adds drama without the chaos some people
attribute to a striped pattern.
If you want to escape from the ordinary and get an interesting result in a room decoration without having to recruit highly decorative accessories, a new trend that makes more and more appearances are lined walls with newspapers.
These walls makes you fooling them around. Moreover, this idea has ecological interest as it is an alternative way to recycle old newspapers.
You can apply the concept to a concrete wall, or an entire room. Because the background created quite “busy”, the rest decoration is good to be simple and selective, with little furniture and focus on selected colors.
The newspapers which will be used can be random scraps, or even better to tell a story, or to revolve around a topic that interests you: fateful dates, interesting discoveries, roundtrips.

expensive decors? Well, the solution to creating a nice home decor is to
use cheap decorating ideas as well as DIY decorating ideas that you can
easily make to revamp the look in your home. Here are some of the

you only need to spend a little for the sugar as well as the cute vases.
Aside from being cheap, it is also very easy to do.
If you are fond of lights and creating a

Another cheap candle holder decor is
this tall vases with some indigenous stones in it. Put some stones
in black and white and arrange them in patterns or in an alternate
fashion or you can also place them in random for that abstract look.
Finally, place tea light candles or slim candles to light up the room at
night. This home decoration is very pretty when placed in a a table top
in your bedroom or living room.

I love collecting both new and vintage plates and platters and using them for practical and display purposes in our home.
My current obsession is collecting ironstone platters. I love them in a
pile or used under a basket of flowers or to corral items on a bathroom
counter.
Plates add a nice back drop to displays in hutches or china cabinets.
